Greek Mythology - The Nereids

The Nereids

The Nereids are blue-haired sea nymphs, daughters of the Titan Nereus and Doris. They accompany Poseidon and aid sailors during dangerous storms. It is assumed there are approximately fifty of them, though I could find no one definitive list, so have shown all that appear in Hesiod's Theogony,  Homers's Iliad,  Hyginus' Fabulae and Apollodorus' Bibliotheke, alternate spellings of names are shown in brackets.
