Numeral Systems

A numeral is a symbol or a group of symbols that represent a number and, just as different cultures developed different languages, so they also developed different numeral systems. Many systems use completely unique symbols to represent numbers and others simply use the letters of their alphabet (such as Armenian and Hebrew).
